Tonia's focus in transportation has started her off in the right direction towards a bright future. You’ll see her all over campus because of her involvement in Alpha Omega Epsilon, multiple civil engineering societies, Hinman CEOS, and UMD group fitness. This girl rocks both in the classroom and as a Bodypump instructor.

Junior, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering

Jill is deeply involved with the Maryland community and is paving the way for future engineers through leadership roles as a peer mentor and engineering camp teaching fellow. Look out for Jill in the future when she’s working her dream job in the consumer goods industry!

Senior, Bioengineering

Savannah is ready to take on the world after graduation. Her breadth of experience in the bioengineering professional field rivals her positive influence on the advancement of women in engineering as one of her biggest accomplishment of her college career. Junior, Fire Protection Engineering

With her passion to help others, Sara Royle has become actively involved in all things fire protection. Her research in the hazards of Photovoltaic Panels and stove top fires has given her a broad range of experiences to join the work force and make the world a safer place for all of us!


Kanwulia GwamKanwulia Gwam

Senior, Mechanical Engineering

From the lab studying acoustic sounds to making her own acoustic sounds with the guitar, Kanwulia is a senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a passion for the Clark School. Kanwulia loves the opportunities that the Clark School has to offer as she pursues her dream of designing new devices and optimizing existing technologies to allow people to take control of their own health.
