Clark School Board of Visitors member Linda Gooden has been promoted to executive vice president of Lockheed Martin’s Information and Technology Services (ITS)—a 35,000-person operation with $4 billion in annual revenue.

Gooden will succeed retiring Michael Camardo in the position, effective Jan. 1, 2007. She has led Lockheed Martin Information Technology (within ITS) since 1997, and since October has additionally served as deputy executive vice president of ITS under Michael Camardo.

U.S. Black Engineer and Information Technology magazine named Gooden its 2006 Black Engineer of the Year.
